Seoul Searching is rude, funny, silly and poignant. Above all, it’s kind; Mr. Lee understands that belonging is a feeling that many of us may never experience.

I also can't deny the void that this movie fills in a country that continues to insist that people of color can only be sidekicks or tokens even when its our stories being told.

A must-see for any John Hughes fan. This film also exposes a very under-represented group in Hollywood, Asian-Americans... but this isn't exactly an "Asian story." This film can appeal to anyone, regardless of your race.
