Starts well, but the early comic buoyancy deflates quickly.

Fun but predictable teen comedy from the great teen comedy year 1985. It stars C Thomas Howell as a high school kid who gets an anonymous love letter, and of course, the letter finds its way to other people thinking they have a secret admirer, comedy ensues. Better than expected but nothing really special, though it's nice seeing Becky/Lori Loughlin (who from about 5 seconds into the movie you know she's the one who wrote the letter. With most 80s teen comedies, it has a good cheesy 80s soundtrack. And Fred Ward is pretty hilarious as the cop dad.

this is a cute 1980's movie. it is about a boy who wants to go out with the most popular girl in school but does not know how to talk to her, so he asks his best friend who is a girl and has had the biggest crush on him like forever to help him win the other girl. so that is how it starts, but does the boy realize that the popular girl is just playing him and that the other one is his true love, so does he getshurt on both sides. you will have to go watch the dvd to find out. ONE FOR THE COLLECTION.

the stuff that happens with the parents is funny and you can kind of tell who wrote the note from the beginning if you never knew what the movie was about.
