low budget,not as good as the 1st film,its missing a big name star some of scenes are just copied from aliens,lots of blood & people being cut in half

Typical fare with typical writing. Space must make people morons because they aren't so bright in this movie. Annoying derivative plot with obvious plot lines. No surprises here. Not as well done as the original.

Pretty good sequel to the classic "Screamers" starring, among others, Lance Henriksen. Not quite in the same class as the original, yet still worth seeing on a slow sunday afternoon!

The original Screamers was one of the most dreadfully boring "horror/sci-fi" films I have ever seen, so I was leary about this sequel. However, as a fan of Canadian actors Gina Holden & Stephen Amell, as well as genre stalwart Lance Henriksen, I figured I'd try it. I was pleasantly surprised - this isn't nearly as bad as some of the other reviews have stated, and you don't even have to suffer through the original to understand what's going on here. You've got a group of people who arrive on a barren planet to rescue a handful of humans, only to be sliced, diced, eviscerated and splattered by the mechanical monsters known as Screamers. Recommended for horror/sci-fi fans who don't take these movies too seriously.

For a sequal it wasn't too bad, actually I've seen far too many sequals much more horrible then this one.... Since it's a sequal your supposed to know the whole backround already.....it pisses me off when people complain how bad movies are when they don't get storylines ESPECIALLY when they haven't seen the first movie yet....it's pretty bad when you watch sequals to movies before you have even seen the first.
