A very cool film from 1985, a great cast and action. Lance Henriksen stars as Ben Stryker, a former soldier on his way to Aqua Dulce, Texas to see Tick Rand (George Kennedy), a friend of his. A motorcycle gang known as the "Savages" cause trouble for the town and Stryker and Tick help fight back. The other cast members that are awesome in this film are William Forsythe, Claudia Udy, Mickey Jones, Michael Sharrett, and an appearance by the late Sam Kinison.

This movie really is a mess, but a (barely) enjoyable one. One of the biggest problems with it is that Lance Henriksen--the anti-hero of the piece--has little to do until the end. If, however, you'd like to see Richard Lynch as a sexually promiscuous preacher/mayor, George Kennedy as a crippled former mercenary firing homemade RPGs, William Forsythe as a bike gang leader named "Pig Iron", and Karen Black chewing the scenery before she's crushed by a tank (yes, a tank)--then this is the movie for you. Plus, there's a midget.

not that great 80s biker action flick concerning bikers coming to a town and taking over and former militery people played by lance henriksen and wheelchair bound george kennedy, having to take it in there hands, there are some typical 80s moments which add to it sometimes but overall its very uneven and at times dull
