An extremely ugly movie. Some all time bad and at times shockingly unnecessary CGI (People standing or walking in the background are sometimes even CGI). It doesn't feature the worst action sequences ever but they are about what you expect with Sly's age.

Nothing too much and nothing too little, I couldn't take it too seriously, perhaps because the perspective was more the boy's than the joe's.

Perhaps the fairest description of Stallone’s performance is that it’s only as one-note as the material, his stern tough-guy muttering and grimacing just about right for a screenplay that feels like it’s been plucked out of a dustbin left untouched since 1995.

Not good not bad. If you have nothing to watch and you have a prime account anyway why not.

Samaritan had the potential to stand out among a crowded pack with Sylvester Stallone as a veteran superhero drawn out of retirement, but it doesn't bring anything new or noteworthy to the table.
