A very disturbing documentary about the Khmer Rouge's death camp in Cambodia. Not only is it disturbing in that it opens your eyes to the atrocities that occured there but as one of its survivors is the man reliving it just adds to the horror. They also have some of the original workers/torturers there and when he comes face to face with them it is just bizarre how some of them seem to not even realise what they have done. It is a powerful film but as an actual piece of work I feel it could have been done slightly diffferent to more effect.

Serves as a potent and necessary reminder of how easily war can defeat the humanity of the good and the well-intentioned.

Way too staged... It brings up some really important issues, but could have been done a lot better, I think.

...an imperfectly realized yet nevertheless important look at the depths to which humanity can sink all too easily.

A chilling documentary that compels us to consider the terrible things human beings can do to one another because of fear, ideology, or just following orders.
