Ruby Sparks (2012)

Calvin is a young novelist who achieved phenomenal success early in his career but is now struggling with his writing – as well as his romantic life. Finally, he makes a breakthrough and creates a character named Ruby who inspires him. movies that have something new to offer and a good lesson to teach are the ones I really adore. this gave me both, and in plentiful doses. I f***ing love it!

An amazingly curious picture. Wild, fantastical, crazy, saddening, haunting and I could continue with more descriptive terms. Most of all this film explores morality within a strange medium: fictional writing with a dash of magic, maybe a dash of wishful thinking. It's up to you to decide. It doesn't have CGI or fabulous stunts or witches and worlocks. It's simple and a wonderful watch. I highly recommend giving this your attention.

We have to ask ourselves to what extent can we manipulate the people around us before it comes unethical? It's another film that is very well made but had a limited release so it won't get noticed by the major consumer. Ruby Sparks has an ideology that we all face in life and wish we could always start over.
