ROMULUS, MY FATHER is based on Raimond Gaita's critically acclaimed memoir. It tells the story of Romulus, his beautiful wife, Christina, and their struggle in the face of great adversity to bring up their son, Raimond. It is a story of impossible love that ultimately celebrates the unbreakable bond between father and son. The acting throughout is superb, especially by the young Raimond, its heartfelt and thoroughly engaging! Top that with stunning photography and scenery and i was more than impressed!

This is a movie your grandparents would love, and so did I. A wonderfully shot & at times heartbreaking film with Eric Bana. Perhaps a little too slow paced for most. Filmed in country Victoria which held added interest for me.

I enjoyed this movie.. It's slow moving story telling really worked well.. It looked beautiful and harsh all at once and the acting was great.
