Spellbinding Hitchcock-type of psychological murder thriller.

7.5/10. I has always found this film fascinating. First, Charles Bronson in a French thriller, that is fascinating in itself, and the film has an amazing atmosphere and a hauntingly beautiful performance from Marlene Jobert, there is just something amazing about her. Suspenseful, unusual and I was never ever bored. A unique and wonderful film experience. Great score, fine direction.

Interesting premise but no movie. The acting is terrible (especially the husband, who is a walking cliche, and Bronson goes without saying). The scenes get more and more preposterous. I am generally totally opposed to remakes but this is a film that almost deserves one. Take the premise, which could very well be interesting, and make a totally different and superior film out of it.

My least favorite Bronson film. Very boring, long, and little action. What do you expect, it's a French film.
