the kind of western dialogue that led the way to Deadwood.

Pretty damn good. A great story of redemption and death in the old west. Oh, and 93% of people are entertained by Road Rules, and should be put to sleep.

A fantastic western that explores conflict both inner and outer. A simple plot line and fine acting make for good early Peckinpah. The director's style is strong and there is some great dialogue.

Freakin' awesome... One of Peckinpah's finest works, though perhaps one of his most under-rated (or overshadowed). A harrowing tale of the test of true friendship, and of the struggle for truth in oneself. A little slow moving to begin with, but that is just because the stage is being laid out. I'm thinking this may have been Randolph Scott's final film, and it shows in how he plays out the final moments of the film. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see a well-woven story. Everything ties in to something else, somehow.
