It's not a total success in delivering heartfelt movie satisfaction, but Ozon makes the film with absolute confidence

The film is good writing on a lost marriage woman (Katie)'s love story. The both actor Katie and Paco are do everything base on their desire. She told Paco as she insists to have a daughter (Lisa), so her ex-husband leaves. When her daughter asked her "Mum, will you together with Paco?" Her reply showed she had never think about it. In fact, Katie is not trust Paco, she think he hurt their son "Ricky". Also Paco would use "Ricky" baby with wings as a tool to earn money. Although his reason is to earn for son's living. Lisa is jealous and sad of lost her mother's care. She resists her new home mate-stranger father, Paco. He director try to said that "Ricky" 's appearance and disappearance both can solve this all family problem. But it is too suddenly and unreasonable, Katie, Paco and Lisa suddenly understand, they love and treasure each other very much. It is hard to feeling and touching of this main point. It would be better if he can show it more in detail.

a story with 1 concept. so may b feel the story is so weak.. remember it's not a funny movie! if u wanna c how cute , it's not ur cup of tea ! it's talking about some couple with a pity happen , but coz it's their experience together ,so their love will be tougher!

Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of this film. A sad story about the lives of a working class family who expects no miracles and is practically hopeless. François Ozon has given us fine specimens of cinema, but this one just confused me. The characters down to even the daughter of the family are just impossible to like and sympathise with. I don't know of this was allegory to promoting tolerance towards the different or if it was simply a movie with a flying baby.The way the mother advertised her baby, the way the father abandonded it, the way the daughter wanted to harm it out of jealousy, the way its departure was presented... I found it unnecessary, and the visual effects are just not convincing.The editiing is crude and sloppy and this is an Ozon film I choose to forget.
