During the summer of 1999, a group of teenagers, through interconnected narratives, live through their last day of high school and prepare for the future. Holly, once the new girl in school, does whatever it takes to remain popular. Dawn, who is secretly a lesbian, battles drugs. Tori is the valedictorian of her class, but, on the eve of graduation, she decides to experiment with drugs for the first time.

I saw this at the LA Film Festival when it was called THE BEAUTIFUL ORDINARY and loved it. Reminded me of an updated DAZED AND CONFUSED. Hate the new title because it sounds too much like that film. It's VERY similar, not as funny, but shows off a promising new filmmaker.

Eh. Nothing remarkable. Only kept watching through the end hoping/wishing/expecting that it would turn into something good. Pretty sure there wasn't that much drug use going on when I was in high school and am doubtful that there's that much now (hopefully).

This was a really good feel good movie because teenagers to young adalts couild relate to this. It made me remember my past and what it was like to be at that age. The casting was great with a lot of no fame actor, except Alexa Vega.

Not quite the next gen "Dazed and Confused" like they obviously set out to achieve but it's not an absolutely dreadful watch. Perfect movie to watch with a girlfriend because you only will end up watching half of it anyway.

Remember the Daze kind of seemed like a lower budget modern day Dazed and Confused. It has a pretty decent sized cast full of up-and-comers, some have come farther than others, that each fill a role of a stereotypical teenager. The plot is simple enough as it's the last day of school and the kids are looking to party. This is a decent movie and I say check it out if you like any of the cast or the teen comedy genre.
