Maggie Baker has a weight problem, and her high school classmates won't let her forget it. They shamelessly ridicule her, and even go so far as to nominate her for Homecoming Queen as a joke. Maggie, however, decides to take the nomination seriously, collects the required signatures and starts campaigning. A number of students get behind her, threatening the chances of the popular clique -- who resolve to sabotage Maggie's campaign by any means necessary.

For Nikkis next big role after Hairspray she did pretty good...it was somewhat long and dry in some parts. Very metaphorical and a little to deep for a teen film...its a teen/drama/comdey to much at once.

it was a lifetime movie so i have to give it some slack for the none lead characters acting...but the way her mom and her were totally reminded me of me and my mom and everything she went through remind me so much of my high school feelings. but once the main character blew it on tv, it was hard to watch. it didn't seem realistic that she'd forget all those people who helped her...so i would have changed the ending...but the feelings throughout the movie were all too familiar for me.

Ok, so albeit the amateur film making and corny lines, Queen Sized actually pulls a rather impacting and enjoyable performance competing with other high school movies.

its a predictable story line ..but it deals with all the issues and hits hard at them .. a good watch for all your daughters out there mums
