Here's a movie I wish I hadn't seen. Though she may have been legendary and influential to her people, I didn't see that come through in this film. All I saw was a woman being gang raped for two hours. Thus furthering my hatred and disgust for all things male.

even though this movie is violent, it still doesnÂ´t show all of PhoolanÂ´s suffering. anyway a good movie. Makes you wanna scream and cry and get the child out of it and kick all those bastards into their ... and skin them alive. The little girl is a brilliant actress.

Don't get to see many Indian films considering how many are made. This is off-the-wall - Phoolan Devi's story suspiciously innocent of any wrong-doing on her part. Real life end of Devi was even more dramatic. Still, suspend disbelief and 'go babe - get the bastards'.
