As horror upon horror unfolds in Prophet’s Prey, Amy Berg’s shocking documentary about the mad polygamist Warren Jeffs and his followers, one may marvel, in horror, at the elaborate forms that deviancy can take.

Director Amy Berg has turned her watchful eye of justice to one of the most diturbing figures in modern criminology, Warren Jeffs. I knew quite a bit about Jeffs, but this documentary showed mr that there is much more to his story...and it ain't pretty. It is very sad that someone like Jeffs can still have this much control over his people.

People of religious faith -- LDS Church members in particular -- will likely be disturbed to see how Jeffs was able to distort familiar doctrines into such awful ends.
