Very interesting documentary. The style of it irritated me at times (animating the paintings, etc.), but this man was intriguing. I'll seek out more about him now, at least.

I found the backstory WAY more interesting than the story itself. I mean, this recluse janitor spent more than 60 years writing a 15000 page novel with included artwork, which was only discovered after he died. I found the guy's history and how he came to write his book to be very interesting, but they left a lot of it out. Plus I thought his novel (at least the paintings) were uber creepy. And Dakota Fanning's voice irritated me. Eh, at least he got his story out there in the end.

Interesting doc that looks into Henry Darger's amazing artwork. After it was done I thought I would have like to learn more about him and his art, but it works as a film to peak your interest.

Yu could have brought in some talking heads for psychological analysis, but the art and writing themselves explain everything we need to know about this sad, lonely man.
