Ouch. This film is bad. I was hoping for much more. Paul Giamatti is the only reason I gave this one star.

While the names attached to Paul Schneider's directorial debut (Paul Giamatti, Billy Crudup, Kristen Wiig) might make it sound attractive, there's a reason this 2008 black comedy - allegedly based on a true story - never made it to a theater near you.

...wanders hopelessly, trying to find a tone or a purpose or a point of view. It's a shame because Paul Giamatti in my opinion is good in every film he's in & this one as well but the film its'self is so bad not even his good performance can save it so SKIP IT!!!

There are a few bright spots here, but the movie never finds its direction. The mystery behind the lead character played by Crudup, remains a mystery, as does the point of the movie. With more screen time from Wiig,and a salvaged ending, this movie would have been halfway decent. Instead it ends up unresolved, and unsatisfying.
