I have to say i really enjoy this film! i kind of identify with it! a hilarious character changing movie! Like IT!!

It's easy to see why this film drew the attention of the likes of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Fred's unending cluelessness is (aside from one particular scene involving an older student and an uppercut) the funniest thing about this movie. McBride carries this film like a true champion.

Considering it only cost $70,000 to make, I can't knock it too much. It was entertaining, and I did stick it out the whole duration. I do like Danny McBride (Hot Rod, Drillbit Taylor), and it was a Will Ferrell/Adam McKay production, so those were what drew me to the flick. If you like stupid comedies that aren't as funny as you want them to be, then this is your movie.

Too smart & too dark for the average person. That doesnt mean it's not a good movie. It's a great movie if you can keep up with all the subtle/clever humor.

What a great movie. Danny McBride was unforgettable as Fred Simmons, a down-on-his-luck karate instructer. The movie has some unforgettable one-liners, and had some laugh out loud moments. It had an Office-ey feel to it, which made it that much funnier. This will be this year's best comedy nobody will see. Overall, a classic comedy that more people should see.
