The stop-animation on this short film is amazing and the figures are wonderful! I love that there is no narration in the film, your imagination is able to stretch and create the emotions for each character. A great film for kids to experience. With some really bad versions of Peter and the Wolf out there, this one is an excellent retelling of a classic.

An unusual but enjoyable interpretation of Prokofiev's famous musical tale. It's kind of sad though, so maybe not appropriate for little ones!

Different from the story we all know. Funny, and beautifully told. Great use of the classic score.

Saw this on TV at Christmas and its amazing. The level of detail is awesome. It took Suzie Templeton and her Polish team of animators 4 years to make. Tells the story of PATW through animation synched to Prokofiev's music. Updated to modern day Russia.

A well-timed, exquisite specimen of animation.
