Builder Robert is visiting his ailing wife in a nursing home and is having problems getting a taxi home due to an intense snow storm. One of the doctors, Katherine offers him a lift home however their car gets stuck and they have to spend the night in an empty cabin nearby. They talk and bond, but afterwards seem to have difficulty beginning a relationship.

Very TV. Actually there's a lot of cliches, very standard movie, the story isn't much original, characters isn't special too. And I totaly don't like all the suporting plot lines, but the main one wasn't bad. Of cause two leading actors were the trump of the movie and pretty much good together on their third team up. Not so much chemistry as in Americanization of Emily or Victor/Victoria but not bad either. I watch it only because of Julie, it's not the role for her but still I admire her (not as an actress but as someone so sweet and charming). In generaly it's a movie to complete looking over the filmography of Julie.

Fantasitic Christmasy lovely story. I absolutly adore this and adore Julie Andrews. Its so heartwarming and just so nice. James Garner and Julie Andrews have fantastic chemistry together and really work so well together!

I've seen this movie on television a number of times and love it each time. Andrews and Garner deliver stellar performances as always. The story touches the heart.
