The documentary has no narration, and uses excellent expository camerawork to say things that no narrator could equal.

Directed by Nanette Burstein, Brett Morgen Starring (as themselves) Harry Keitt, George Walton, Tyrene Manson, Noel Santiago A documentary about three fledgling Bed-Stuy boxers and their rise and pitfalls. It starts with the personalities projecting themselves on camera with assurance but when the reality of their problems sets in midway into the film, the tears that roll down were very much real. The agony of defeat, the struggle of existence in a tough neighborhood, the search for an identity tower over their lives. Best Scene: The court verdict.

not as good as i wanted it to be but still good

What the film lacks in freshness...it makes up for in its sympathetic and compelling portrayal of its subjects.
