John would be sure to remind us that that you have to be careful when you venture into idol-making. "Nor is their singing school but studying monuments of it's own magnificence..." So the director is careful here, too careful. It has its moments but this is kitchen room drama not "A Day In The Life.

I don't know if it's the songs, the story, the actors - but this movie got me' hooked up': Undeniably impressive a movie that is about a lapse of life of a legend! I loved it!

Nowhere Boy is too astutely written and directed to go to predictably melodramatic extremes.

I loved it. So much emotion in one film. WOW! just WOW! They should make a sequel about the rest of John's life!

A really genuine feeling film about John Lennon's youth and his two "Mums". Breakthrough performance by Aaron Johnson as young Lennon. Kristin Scott Thomas always satisfies.
