Amid scattershot pop culture references, flying cars and squads of armored knights with laser-guided crossbows, Nimona makes a cry for acceptance that has mythic resonance.

Sorry .it had so much potential..but the usual force woke diarrhea made me quit it half way through...it was too much to bare...

For me it is one of the best of this year 2023, being a person who knows about the themes of the film and who unfortunately suffers, it is a good film to reflect on and hang out. The animation is incredible and the way the plot develops is good. Recommended for everyone and for those who feel bad, they are not alone.

I'll give it a 5/10. The animations are too poor for my taste, sadly. I know the graphic novel. I like the personal struggles, stories, etc. I like to support LGBTQ in general. My only issue is that Nimona is a novel we joked about at university, in a philosophy class, where the professor deconstructed modern gender fluid theories for being historicism and constructivism. A constructivist ideology that has its believers but is a joke among academic philosophers and sociologists, and is damaging LGBTQ in the public eye, as we've seen in the past years. Therefore, I wish we would talk about this misleading trend that is attracting parts of the LGBTQ movement, in the same way past constructivists were sometimes debunked by creators and journalists, right? Think of the 1960s and 1970s. But I guess that it is too trendy for now among a certain group of people, and most of us have no theoretical tools to even contemplate it. And Netflix certainly is not the place of theoretical debate.
