fun killer giant rabbits movie (yes i said killer giant rabbits) from that description you know if you wanna see it or not & if you do, you'll have fun.

If you love this you will love gargoyles!!! this is absolutely the cheesiest of the cheese, complete with furry bunnies hopping in front of a plate of glass. Favorite movie line is when the Sheriff pulls up in front of a couple on their front porch and tells them to run for their lives cause killer bunnies are a coming....and they panic and leave. Only outdone by the Sheriff's response when they find the dead delivery man and he says that the marks look like 'giant rabbits teeth'

The premise of this film, when spoken aloud, just can't help but sound ridiculous - giant, man-eating rabbits rampage across the American southwest. In the vein of "Them!" and "Phase IV", this is a science fiction horror romp that, if nothing else, commits itself to its story and plays it as straight as possible. Sure, the effects of normal-sized rabbits rampaging in slow motion across miniature sets, smeared with ketchup on their faces as a stand-in for the blood of humans that they just ate is undeniably silly, but that doesn't mean it's still not fun. I've certainly seen worse movies with higher budgets and "better" special effects. I mean, how the hell else are they going to get us to care about giant, man-eating rabbits? Deforest "Bones" Kelley, Stuart Whitman, Rory Calhoun, and Janet Leigh star as scientists and ranchers out to stop a rabbit plague that they exacerbate through science. Not high art, but I enjoyed it. Woodchuck sez, "Me likey."

A cult classic...wonderful movie with "giant" rabbits filmed in slow motion with ketchup for blood on their faces...and tiny models for towns...does it get any better than that? Oh yes, Janet Leigh of Psycho fame slums it here...treat yourself to this.
