Writer-director Deborah Brock simply fails to give her film style or wit. The grisly shenanigans are as inane and illogical as the rationale behind making this effort.

I just watched this movie, and tried to explain it to my friend. I realized the summary is a pretty good review, so I've just copied and pasted exactly what I told him. I just watched the most inexplicable little movie I've seen in a long time. Slumber Party Massacre 2 in the first one, the killer was just some dude. People at that time thought it was boring. So for the sequel, the killer is a Lovecraftian bowie-esque rock and roll night stalker with a power drill guitar he plays sick riffs while yelling lame 80's catchphrases and preying on the innocent.

A fun rock'n'roll'n'drill slasher flick. While it's kind of hard to relate this to the first film beyond it's characters, it's a whole lot of fun and I don't believe there has ever been anything like it. The ending was a little quick and a bit unexplained but it doesn't hurt the film much.

The film works, thanks to a surprisingly fun cast, but its best not to take things too seriously and just enjoy the film for what it is -- a brilliantly madcap slasher send-up.

It's such a bad movie that is so good at the same time. Everything from the over-the-top rocker to the cheesy gore effects, it's all just a downright blast!
