the story isnt bad for like a tales of the crypt type thing, the gore is decent, the scenery kinda feels like they had one place to shoot, and i cant say all the characters were that interesting. It tells the story backwards making the mystery slowly unravel, with maybe not as big of a payoff as they clearly wanted. some really weird thing every now and then. Not a must see but it wasnt terrible

I would have to say that I thought this flick would entail something to do with necromancy; however, I was sadly mistaken. Unlike what the title suggests this movie is just another dark, strange spin on the lives and deaths of some twisted characters. I think the best characters were Thomas, the wheelchair bound brother, and the man in the t.v. I would say it is better than the Blair Witch Project (I didn't feel seasick after watching it...), but not by much. If you like B rated horror movies you'd probably enjoy this!

Now on the back of the DVD it says it's inspired by Clive Barkers work.. if 'inspired' means pretty much ripped off then I will agree. It reminds me of Hellraiser in so, so many ways but despite that it's still a good movie. The plot keeps going from one focus to another every other scene almost so it's a little hard to keep up with unless your paying attention... It's based on the lives of three main people. A man called Travis and his handicapped brother, a fat man called Hagen and his dead wife and a mute. But you don't see much about the mute fello till the end. The gore is very well done, the plot is interesting enough, not very scary.. in fact not scary at all but it's good. Pics and more on my blog

Visually I loved it. It's like Chad Michael Ward met Clive Barker in their youth and made a movie. It was almost beautiful... But the story ended up leaving me bored after a while. I hardly noticed when it even ended.

God Damn pig! The most disturbing part of the movie. I officially have a phobia of pigs just from this movie....
