The film has a Clive Barker flare to it and the creatures reminded me of Cenobites (watch Hellraiser if you don't know what a Cenobite is). Overall I really enjoyed the story....what was confusing in the beginning and middle was wrapped up nicely in the end. The plot may have unfolded in a bizarre manner but the writers kept the script tight and put together a pretty good story. Visually, the film was stunning....from the creature with its back exposed and huge mouth to the fat guy with the pig face, it was all very intriguing.

The makeup and gore was good. sadly the plot is empty and too confusing.
