Simply a modern horror masterpiece of the macabre and vamipre movies! this one features not the typical vampires of fangs but more white-trash modern ones who can burn in the sun and this is like a modern western for the 80's only drentched in gore and characterization. Recommended and one of my faves since i was 16.

Gritty, punky, vampire movie that never uses the word "vampire," "undead," or displays a single cross, mirror, or stake. Not a tuxedo in sight. Set in the dusty southwest amidst broken down pickups, bars with sticky floors, and one-gas station town, these vampire-cowboy-motorcycle gang lunatics are the most interesting screen vampires you will ever see. The girls who are oohhing and aahhing over Twilight should check out Wild Bill Paxton in his shades and biker gear. Includes some interesting twists on the vampire canon.

One of my favourite vampire films. It's a shame everyone remembers The Lost Boys so fondly and this, the far superior film, is left in the dust. Still, it's developed a little cult following, so that's good. Paxton and Henriksen are amazing as shitkicker vampires on an eternal roadtrip sucking blood and kicking ass. A fantastic film.

I fell in love with this movie as a kid! I thought Homer was the shit! I was only ten but to me it was awsome!
