Elvira's Haunted Hills (2002)

The setting is Carpathia. The year is 1851. When Elvira gets kicked out of an Inn for a slight monetary discrepancy, she is rescued by a local who takes her to stay at the castle in the hills high above the village. The fact that she happens to resemble the count's former "missing" wife opens a can of worms or two.

Everyones favourite vamp is at it again - this time she is forced to spend a night in a haunted house - double entendres aplenty - some work some don't - but however poorly it's acted out you just can't end up liking the girl!

Excellent low budget comedy that is very entertaining and parodies the old Roger Corman movies superbly. The actors are excellent and just cheesy enough to make this whole thing work. The story is a bit weak but the jokes are excellent.

It's slapstick humour and I loved it. Plus, it has Richard O'Brien from "Rocky Horror" in it. What's not to like?

I like this movie a lot. Elvira is showing age in this movie physically, but you could never tell by how she acts. She acts as young as she ever was. She is so beautiful and funny. The movie it's self is pretty dumb, but not stupid. What I mean is, there is a plot and all, but if it weren't for Elvira (or any other completely beautiful people) say if someone you don't care for was the main actor or actress, you wouldn't watch it. She is like the pinticle of woman power. If you are beautiful, act ditsy and get everything you can from others, but what others don't realize is that you know you have them twisted around your little finger, and there is brain behind the chaos. I love her! This is a hit or miss movie. It is funny, but not that funny if you don't want to use your brain to see the genius in it. Loosen up and have some fun, don't over think it. I know I just said use your brain but like I said, hit or miss, it's in between...
