Nana 2 (2006)

Two girls with the same name but very different personalities share an apartment in this sequel to Nana. The rising fame of Nana Osaki's band, the Black Stones, is beginning to take a toll on the best friends' relationship. Great movie, but not as good as the first one.

I expected too much from this movie since the first one was fabulous.The storyline was flat, uninteresting. The songs were ok but nothing more... it kind of get boring too sometimes ! Perhaps also because Hachiko was played by another actress..

It was filled with the same emotion as the first one. Though what's disappointing is some characters are missing and it doesn't show the end of the series and makes the viewer a bit disappointed at the end

Of course there's a lot of things missing from the series but in the second Nana, it's more toward Hachi and Nana's relationship instead of being more toward Nana-Ren like the first. There are more important elements from the series. And I'm actually glad they changed the actor that played Shin. As much as I like Ken'ichi Matsuyama as L... he just doesn't fit as Shin.

never mind all the other cast changes, the biggest mistake was not signing Miyazaki Aoi to reprise her role as 'Hachi' Komatsu Nana..i like Ichikawa Yui but she fails to scratch the surface of what Aoi brought to the character. story wasnt as good as Part 1 either.
