Nana 2 (2006)

Two girls with the same name but very different personalities share an apartment in this sequel to Nana. The rising fame of Nana Osaki's band, the Black Stones, is beginning to take a toll on the best friends' relationship. I haven't watched the first one, nor the anime, so I can truthfully say that as a single movie is quite interesting and entertaining. Both Nana's are very interesting characters, and i liked the realistic part of the plot.

The movie just sorted ended. I'm hoping for a Nana 3 to really tie it all up. Didn't care too much for the new Hachi but loved the new Shin he fit my idea of a teen runaway a lot better!

2 stars for Mika's acting! 1/2 for Shin (so like him) and 1/2 for Nobu. I am a big NANA fan, and this movie sure disappointed me. No comparison to the 1st movie! Komatsu Nana sucks (don't know how to act and look stupid). Takumi is cool! Why Reira only speak English is very weird to me. To me, Ren looks like he is mad/angry all the time. No connection between NANA and Ren. My friends who are not NANA fan, have no idea since most of the movie was very choppy.

I liked Nana much more than Nana 2. Nana Osaki developed into a more rounded person. Nana Komatsu, changed for the worse, but at least is growing up.
