Spoiler free view of the film. The sound, visuals and english voice acting are all done really well throughout the movie. the story is lacking at the beginning in its pacing, which is expected in a way as it has to set up everything for theSpoiler free view of the film. The sound, visuals and english voice acting are all done really well throughout the movie. the story is lacking at the beginning in its pacing, which is expected in a way as it has to set up everything for the movie, however once it gets going, the movie doesn't slow down until the final sequence where all the fighting has finished and it is just wrapping up the movie. They do try and tie in the main villain of the movie with the main villains of the show, but its very thin in the end. This movie is much better than two heroes though, which felt like it was a long episode, this feels like an actual movie.

Sure, the action is thrilling and the visual effects are stellar, but Heroes Rising as a whole only manages to graze the surface of what makes My Hero Academia the series itself so great.

If you enjoy watching the big fights at the climax's of the anime, this movie is like that but x10 in terms of quantity and quality. I could see why the main villain wasn't very deep or complex, but for me the action makes up for that. The thing that happens in the end is very impactful too.
