This movie is a classic, Mr Christian! This is very good classic movie. Clark Gable is very good as Lt. Fletcher Christian. But Charles Laughton does even better as Capt. William Bligh. Laughton cathes that charater and bring it to life. Of course the story itself is a classic and the movie does not steers far from it.

A superb and magnificent classic with an unforgettable performance from Charles Laughton, as Captain Bligh. Clark Gable and Franchot Tone also give great performances. Good supporting cast, impeccable MGM production. Very well written and directed. Outstanding in all areas.

This one is the "quicker picker upper" in terms of delivering on a great story, cast, direction and continuity. Wonderful nostalgia. (pun intended).
