while its simple themes and honest morals may be fluffy, they'll always resonate, thus making "Mr. Deeds" the classic it is.

Funny and idealistic in classic Capra fashion. Strong tale about the virtues of common sense and the common man and the dangers of cynisism.

This is my favorite movie right now. Wonderful acting all around (especially Gary Cooper), a good story, and timely themes about honesty, helping others, and boldly being yourself.

So much better then I was expecting! A really funny, touching and surprising film that just makes you smile! One of Capra's best. Does anyone think Daniel Craig stole his DNA from Gary Cooper?
