The lives of three women have a commonality: adoption. Karen is a physical therapist who regrets that, as a teenager, she gave up her daughter for adoption. A bit predictable, toward the end but still very emotional! Annette Bening is amazing... Oscar's calling! I've since seen the film two more times and have grown to like it more and more than I thought I ever would. I don't know why, but I think it's of of the best flicks of 2010!

Rent this movie...you won't regret it. Annette Bening is an incredible actress whom seems to get better and better with each new movie.

Mother And Child is a beautiful film with a sophisticated but charming story. The film is about more than the relationships between a mother and a child, but also how the interactions between meeting new people can effect the life paths of both individuals.
