Just love this coz it was my first encounter with something adult. I have watched more than six times since then.

I had to watch this movie for a class and it was just ok. It was supposed to be a love story, but the love story gets lost in all the other junk and then the ending is really out of left field. Just ok for me.

Not great. Slow development. Kind of a far fetched love between the two, they didn't have much chemistry at all.

Mississippi Masala is a film about a an indian family who were kicked out of Uganda. They moved all around the world and finally land up in Mississippi. Time passes and the indian daughter Mina falls in a love with a black man. Mina's family does not approve. It's a very interesting story. Denzel Washington was amazing as always even 20 years ago. The ending for me was unexpected but powerful in my opinion. I don't think the movie would have been as good if it ended with a mushy love scene or something like that.
