In this revealing documentary, filmmakers follow the three rock stars as they hire a group therapist and grapple with 20 years of repressed anger and aggression. The REAL Metallica is everything pre- Black Album

I like this movie. Not just because I am a huge Metallica fan, but because it took real balls for these guys to basically bear their souls to the world. I love how everyone immediately started criticizing the band and calling them egotistical etc. But none of us went through the same things as them so who are we to judge?

I was pre-disposed to liking this due to being a Metallica Gimp. Having said that, it is a really enjoyable documentory and despite coming accross like spoilt rich bastards, the band remain cool mother fuckers! Just a shame no-one, seemimngly band included, liked the album that came out of this experience. I did, but they can do no wrong in my eyes!
