Great movie about Norway's involvement in the Second World War. It tells the story of Max Manus, who along with a few other countrymen, played a significant role in disabling the Nazi threat in Norway. The movie was made especially real at the screening thanks to an elderly Norweigan woman who came up and briefly spoke of her experiences in Norway at that time. She relayed how real the movie was to her, and that it brought back vivid pictures of the long-ago war. Her story was very touching, along with the fact that it only cost about $10 million to make, and they did it in about 42 days. Something else that might have been tough to watch for locals, was the erecting of the Nazi flag on the Parliament building for scenes in the movie. I couldn't imagine what that would feel like.

A suspenseful well made WW2 film. A good spy film if you have the 2 hours and can watch a subtitled movie. It's not like a stupid austin power movie for sure though.
