Matching Jack has a squirmy kind of emotional truth to it. It's funny, but it's not a comedy.

A tear jerker of a film, yeah sure it has flaws but that doesn't take away from the storyline. It's filmed like it was a home movie and that gives the characters life, it makes the story even more real to life and it left me asking just what would you do for a loved one. Go see it but take a box of tissues!

A bit sentimental but the two child actors make this tearful and honest. It is their relationship and friendship which makes this good and the fact Kodi Smit-McPhee is a superb young actor. His underplay of the dying character is worth watching.
