At first I thought this was going to be like every other spoof movie: a poorly acted bore. It actually turned out to be very funny and is now one of my favourite movies.

I can't decide which two words describe this movie best - "bad ass" or "fuckin' sweet!". Coolest horror movie hero in ages that, if an awesome sequel is made, could almost be the new Ash (Evil Dead series). Lots of fun, a sequel must be made!

The ARmy of Darkness of this decade. Not as campy as it should have been but with some awesome 80's style gore and special effects, how can you go wrong. An awesome score, some good acting and a solid plot. My one complaint would be the lack of actual "Monster Slaying" going on. The movie does take quite a while before anything like that begins and it feels like it ends too quickly. That said, I still loved and recommend it to anyone who looks campy over the top B-movies

I'm glad I gave this indie horror movie a chance. It was a nice throwback to classic horror movies like Evil Dead. There was no CGI and it was all just plain old fashioned visual effects. The acting from everyone was decent, especially Robert Englund as a scene stealer. Trevor Matthews also held his own. The pacing is off for the first half with too much set-up, but the action and payoff is definitely worth it.
