Not a bad final entry but not as fun as the others. Davi is once again pretty good and it was cool seeing a young Earle Haley. Didn't care much for the voodoo guy bringing Cordell back but at least it's a fairly plausible idea when you compare it to things like Jason Voorhees etc, also not a fan that Cordell speaks again in this film, he should have remained silent. The end implies a fourth which I'd love to see but I don't think we ever will.

Not as good as part one or two, but still a solid entry by the same cast, write and director. This entry lacks the budget of the previous films and the motivation for the Maniac Cops action are on the thin side this time. Still, it's a fun film if you like this underrated franchise.

The third, weakest and final installment of this horror franchise. Cordell is brought back to life with the aid of some black magic to help protect a comatosed police women who has been framed for a murder. Davi is the balls again as he hunts down the Maniac cop. A good soundtrack from Jerry Goldsmith and some comedy gold from Jackie Earle Haley as a junkie stick up man. Not a patch on the first two but a decent end to a great trilogy.

Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence is totally unnecessary and adds elements to the story that should be ignored. I see it as Maniac Cop 1 & 2 make up the actual story, while Maniac Cop 3 is a fun little bonus. With that being said I still think this movie is excellent. That is a "Wayne's World" type of excellent, as opposed to a rating better than very good. A short, but entertaining film made up of all the same slashing goodness from the first two with extra cheese and more fun loving 80's goofiness.

Return of the chin. Not as good as part two but entertaining enough, Maniac Cop meets Bride of Frankenstein.
