This was a fantastic movie. The tone, the journey from birth to hero without sacrificing a current storyline, Zod - all fantastically realized. Cavill is phenomenal. Best Superman on screen ever, and I loved the original Reeves movies.

Man of Steel is the best superhero hero movies ever made. Henry Cavill was everything I wanted Superman to be. The movie is exciting and engaging as you see Kal-El learn the balance of what it takes to be human. Not a great superhero movie, a great movie period.

This jouney of a relateble man -first rather than an alien-with powers finding out if the world can be trusted to look over superficial aspects.. The themes it tackles are super importan particularly xenophobia. the divisive ending and emotional performance by Cavill really asks the question of why can't people accept such a necessary reason to kill?
