Some good rope and whip action in the fight scenes, but the movie loses steam at the halfway point. even the fight scenes are not in the second half. A very static action adventure.

Playing the same song loop is annoying. Good fights, dated effects. Yeoh does some great things with a whip.

Great repairing of star Michelle Yeoh and Director David Chung. Action is superbly choreographed by Stephen Tung Wei. The overlong battle that breaks up the finale is the only thing I can fault. Superb fun :)

Michelle Yeoh, playing a 1930s era Indiana Jones-like hero. Sounds way better than it is. More in common with 'High Road to China' than 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'.
