Adequate finale to the series, like the other sequels though, lacks the epic feel of the original and also the fucking incredible cast. Still, it's a decent little Western and Lee Van Cleef is alright in the role originated by Yul Brynner

Weak sequel with Lee Van Cleef taking over the Yul Brynner/George Kennedy role despite looking like neither.

Weakest of the popular western series. Van Cleef does a good job filling in the shoes left by Yul Brynner and George Kennedy. But nobody around him picks up the slack. The idea of seven gunslingers taking on a ruthless gang to save a town really shouldn't deserve four films. The plot of taking men from prison to fight is just a "Dirty Dozen" rip off. The ending is different as Chris stays with the saved town, but otherwise this is the exact same story you've seen before.

I own this in a four movie pack along with: * The Magnificent Seven (1960) * Return Of the Magnificent Seven (1966) * Guns Of The Magnificent Seven (1969)

barely had anything to do with the Magnificent Seven, saves the Magnificent Seven part to the last thirty-forty minutes of the movie, and just doesn't seem like a Magnificent Seven movie
