If they wanted to make a soft core exploitation picture, they should have made it and kept the vampire plot out of it, because it doesn't help the story anyway. It could help the story, but they don't allow it to develop that way.

so the Karnsteins cast fear over an austrian village - and a girls finishing school - which leads to much fun 'n' frolics including the teacher having his end away with Vampy Mircalla whose a pupil there - if he did that today he'd be up in court - PC gone mad!!!

Hammer injects more sexuality into the lesbian vampire trilogy, with Stensgaard one of the most beautiful actresses to play Mircalla or Carmilla. Set the resurrected vampire into an all girls’ school and it’s one of those British horrors that takes itself seriously in spite of the storyline.

A poor follow up to the brilliant vampire lovers. No star names and the so say "sexy" lead vampire Yutte Stensgaard goes bog eyed when trying to look erotic? Very poor!!
