Twins of Evil (1971)

While dabbling in Satanism, Count Karstein resurrects Mircalla Karnstein who initiates him into vampirism. As a rash of deaths afflicts the village, Gustav the head of Puritan group leads his men to seek out and destroy the pestilence. One of his twin nieces has become inflicted with the witchcraft but Gustav's zeal and venom has trapped the innocent Maria, threatening her with a tortuous execution, whilst Frieda remains free to continue her orgy of evil.

Very entertaining Hammer film; the last of the Karnstein trilogy and a great improvement on Lust For A Vampire.

The lively and atmospheric but flawed horror pic might be routine and limited by its slack story, but it is entertaining and holds up better than most vampire pics.

Very well done vampire film from Hammer?s later period. It?s gothic and atmospheric at times and erotic and graphic at others. Our twins deliver better performances than expected of Playboy centerfolds and Cushing is superb as always.

More incestuous lesbian vamp action. Kind of. Sacrifices and Satanism and dark mumbo-jumbo. Up to the level of what you would expect from Hammer. One of the Karnstein trilogy, quintillion if you cont Vampire Circus and Captain Kronos.
