I saw this when I was 14 on TV looking back on it now its not as good as I remember its an ok film the makeup effects look pretty crappy, the gore is kinda decent its not really so much a vampire movie as it is a Scooby-Doo mystery the villain at the end is a real letdown, and poor Lance Henriksen isnt given much to do here, he just plays a jerk throughout the whole thing come on, is it so hard to make an interesting vampire flick even if its straight-to-DVD? 'Out for Blood' really could have been better

This was actually a decent Sci-fi channel made movie, it was quite entertaining though I do wonder about how convenient it was that Hank's wife was a paranormal romance writer. The only thing that bugged me was the fact his wife was always right and how fast she became a vampire.

wait, this is a vampire movie? i remember Jodi Lyn O'Keefe being evil but i dont recall her appearing as a vampire at any point. man is this bad
