The notion that the art/paintings that tell the story is gimmicky is utter nonsense. This film is full of love and visually stunning. What a gift of the imagination.

Today I was so very fortunate to see the amazing film 'Loving Vincent', a unique film in that each scene is hand painted in the breathtaking Van Gogh style. I really don't have words to adequately describe just how visually gorgeous the images are. Likewise the content is especially captivating and thought provoking as it explores the life and death of the master artist. This film is an emotionally powerful and rare experience for any lover of art and life.

Visually this film is amazing. Especially if you are a Van Gogh fan already. I loved this film and will watch it again and again when it comes out on DVD.
