Let's Be Cops (2014)

Best pals Ryan and Justin are stalled in their respective careers -- a fact that is painfully driven home when they go to a college reunion. Dressed as police in the mistaken belief that they were to attend a costume party, Ryan and Justin find that the uniforms earn them much respect and attention. Although Justin is uncomfortable with the idea, Ryan decides to continue with the charade, putting them both in increasingly dangerous situations. When these newly-minted "heroes" get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line.

WAY funnier then I expected. Amazing lead characters. If you loved 21 jump street, you'll love this.

This movie is really funny! it's no Oscar winner but you will have a good laugh. I liked that the main characters were not famous actors, it really left a blank canvas to create their own style. The critics are some purist aholes that measure a silly comedy like this one to the same standard as a serious move like for example The kings speech. Obviusly they are not in the same level but if you compare this to other comedies it would rate much much higher.

Most of the reviews for this movie are from pharmaceutical pill popping homosexuals, Ignore them. This movie is outrageously funny, with a touching end. Do yourself a favor and see it before it's too late. Funniest movie of the year, maybe the decade. Seriously.

I absolutely loved this movie! Which is surprising, because most of these types of movies are sterotypical and I avoid. However, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Jake Johnson are freaking awesome together; and UNFORTUNATELY this film does not even BEGIN to explore how devastatingly AWESOMELY AWESOME they could be together. Strikingly similar to 21 Jump Street but in my personal opinion, WAY BETTER. These guys fake being cops after obtaining uniforms for a costume party, and continue to push the limits. Another similar (and better) comparison film would be The Other Guys, which I also find hilariously hilarious. I WILL be buying this movie. I do NOT give a fuck about what anyone else thinks. This is gold in my collection of rare, awesome movies.
