Legal Eagles (1986)

District Attorney Tom Logan is set for higher office, at least until he becomes involved with defence lawyer Laura Kelly and her unpredictable client Chelsea Deardon. It seems the least of Chelsea's crimes is the theft of a very valuable painting, but as the women persuade Logan to investigate further and to cut some official corners, a much more sinister scenario starts to emerge.

This film is totally underrated. It is a sort of romantic thriller, often very funny. Redford and Winger have great chemistry. Daryl Hannah is excellent as a troubled artist. All I'm saying, is Give This A Chance!

High concept movie from the 80s, Ivan Reitman's carte blanche project after Ghostbusters. Ah well. "You'll want them on your side" the bored trailer announcer said....

So-so legal drama. Debra Winger does her best, but it seems like Redford doesn't really care to be in this movie. That, or he just naturally has no chemistry with anyone involved.
