Last Passenger (2013)

Independent British thriller starring Dougray Scott and Kara Tointon. Lewis (Scott), an overworked doctor, is on his way home from London with his young son Max (Joshua Kaynama). Clearly exhausted from his work, Lewis decides to take a nap on the train while an attractive young woman (Tointon) watches over his son. When he wakes, all but a few passengers have alighted and he realises that the train is not stopping to let anyone else off. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Lewis goes to investigate and finds that the train has been taken over by an unstable driver who is hellbent on destroying the vehicle along with all the remaining passengers on board.

Above average thriller set on a runaway train. Scott is a decent lead, a serious twitch off Kara Tointon and nobody plays a slimy hateful cunt more than David Schofield. Worth a watch and despite its budget it holds up well.

Something We've Seen Before But Not To Often, Which Makes This Claustrophobic Thriller Refreshing. A Group Of Six Passengers Must Battle What Seems To Be A Suicidal Train Driver. Last Passenger Is A Well Made Thriller That Stars Dougray Scot As The Hero. Worth A Watch, Great For Filling In Spare Time.

A larger budget would have probably spoiled this wild ride.

Taking the train home is dangerous business in the UK.

Big build up with little resolution. Maybe it's my dislike for single setting movies but I didn't enjoy it as much. And in the end (no real spoiler) you find out nothing about who took over the train so there is a huge gap missing.
