The first hour of the film is nothing but a bunch of pretentious college students confusing Marxism and theatre, I was sure I was going to hate this. And then the movie changes gears.

It's still easy to be wowed by La Chinoise's mastery of ideological back-and-forth as well as the pinwheeling sense of invention that constantly threatens to burst the constrants of the frame

Worth watching over and over again. I'm really impressed by the dialogues of the characters and the symbolism behind every set design. Godard evidently spent a lot of his time searching for politically-charged quotes.

political diatribe from a trio of college kids bored during one summer in Paris. I thought the film was boring and only the two female actresses kept my interest (and that was for their appearance, not their acting). Only for Godard enthusiasts, otherwise pass.

Talk, talk, talk...only Godard could pull this off and keep it interesting.
